The Doctor strides confidently up to the prehistoric banana tree and looks his adversary up and down, considering his plan of attack! His head looks upward at the delicious bananas, then back down, then up again! The Doctor breathes in in preparation for the long climb, then turns to his companions and flaps his arms at his side in defeat.
Doctor: 'You know, in nine hundred and seven years, never once have I had to shimmy up a tree?'
Sam: "I can shimmy! I'll do it!'
Sam struts towards the tree and begins shimmying skywards with ease!
Mikaela: 'Sam has this friend and climbing trees is kind of their thing.'
The Doctor nods, seemingly impressed and oblivious to Mikaela's sarcasm as Sam looks down from the tree top.
Sam: 'Tree climbing isn't mine and Miles' thing, it's just something we've always done. As you well know, our 'thing' was scoring with the ladies!'
Mikaela: 'Right Sam. I forgot.'
Sam grabs the bunch of bananas and struggles with it for a moment.
Sam: This... is harder than it looks!'
Mikaela; 'Just don't fall off Sam.'
Doctor: 'Try your knife.'
Sam: "What? No way! If I slip and fell, I could fall on the knife! Safety first!'
Mikaela: 'Pull one off at a time!'
Sam and the Doctor: "That's a good idea.'
Sam does and drops the bananas one at a time. Mikaela and the Doctor gather them up only to hear Sam shriek!
Doctor: 'What is it?'

Doctor: ' Cyber Controller is the Cyber Commander if you prefer. I've got a few ideas on how we can deal with them and each and every one of those ideas can wait until we've eaten! You both must be starving! I know I am! Let's go find some prehistoric food then, shall we?'
Lost in the flurry of the Doctor's words, am and Mikaela both concede that they are hungry. In fact, they are famished! The Time Lord leads on through the jungle.
Sam: 'This is all totally awesome though. Even with the humidity and the complete lack of dinosuars, this is still totally awesome!'
Doctor: 'If you get excited by this, just wait until we save the future of mankind.'
Mikaela: 'What happened to your last companion?'
The Doctor ignores the question.
Doctor: 'Look! Up there! Prehistoric bananas! Before they were genetically altered for the consumer age! Long before in fact!'
Mikaela: 'You always do that.'
Doctor: ' What? I like bananas!'
Mikalea: 'No, you always avoid talking about yourself. You get yourself distracted or point something out thats cool. Anything to take the spotlight off you.'
Doctor: 'Mikaela, where's the fun in talking about me when there is so much in the universe to show you! Things that are fantastic! Beyond your wildest imagination! And you want to know about me? Talk about needing perspective!'
Mikaela: 'Don't try and side step the question, Doctor. You go around the universe, saving lives and seeing the most awesome and the most horrible sights imaginable. You go off from place to place, from adventure to adventure, always on the run. Always throwing yourself into danger and showing the most amazing courage. Like, more courage than anyone ever, but then I ask you about yourself, about the real you, and THAT scares you? What do you have to hide?'
Doctor: 'Look, I've got nothing to hide and in time, perhaps I'l open up. But for now... I'm just too busy. There's so much going on in the universe, and I mean here, Quintessa... in a galaxy far far away, all over the universe. Things that demand the attention of a Time Lord and I'm the last one. Do you understand that? I wish that you could understand the full extent of my universal responsibilities but you simply can not. And that's not a knock to your intelligence, you know that. I already told you that I think you're both brilliant. It is a simple case of mental capacity and experience. A human simply can not comprehend the magnitude of my job without... without the most dire of consequences. The Time Disturbance has shaken the natural order of the universe and it is my job to fix it. And I can't do that on an empty stomach, so right now I am going to get me some prehistoric bananas! Would you like some?'
