Her lipstick and eyecolor were edited (as well as the dress color). And I didn't draw the background, only the wings.

I was fourteen when I had that dream. I can still remember it plain as day.
I dreamt my house was sinking in magma, and that lava was flowing down the walls.
I dreamt it chased me. Chased. At an unearthly speed. Unearthly for lava. It was then I knew I was in a nightmare.
It roared, and growled, I would say it spoke in tongues too but I think I'd only be saying that for effect.
I don't think I was ever so scared by a dream in my life.

Ok, so in case you're wondering. I'm working on The Dreamtime Series, that project I've been talking about the past couple weeks. I need a minimum of 7 images in a series to enter. But because I'm just that slightly OCD, I'm gunning for 8. Wide Eyed Wonder is one of them.
As the series title suggests, it draws inspiration from dreams, nightmares, and emotions that inspire dreams. I've always been fascinated by dreams so I thought this was a good chance to pick the brains of my subjects too.
Many thanks to Rajashree for helping me realise this particular nightmare. It was a blast... I guess in this case in more ways than one.
