Kacie flew in from Philadelphia yesterday, visiting for the next three weeks or until we're tired of each other. I'm surprised at how nice it is to have a roommate, and I'm not the kind of person who lives with others well. She's like a good, tough guy friend, except she happens to be an attractive woman who likes having her photo taken. The fact that she's also a photographer doesn't hurt at all, leading us to have a wonderful shorthand for a myriad of conversations.
Here is a shot we took at the park today, which I kept calling her "Audrey Hepburn look". We've spent most of tonight looking at photos side by side, me on my computer, she on hers. "Have you seen this one?" "No, but have you seen my version of that?" There are many threats of violence being made.
Tacos, wine, photos. Not a bad night at all.

Don't feel much like going into the details of today...
But I will say this for those of you dear to me and who love me...the 'trip and fall' I experienced and sustained today could have been a lot worse than it was....each of you and your words of support ran through my mind this morning and that got me through...I plowed forward and kept the momentum going, wasn't easy but I did it.
