Curtiss P-40B Warhawk 41-13297 is a survivor of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour on 7 December 1941, this is the world's oldest airworthy P-40B
This aircraft was one of just 131 B-model fighters built by Curtiss at its Buffalo, New York plant in 1940-41, 41-13297 being delivered in March 1941
In February 1942, the aircraft crashed after the pilot failed to recover from a spin. The very substantial wreckage was eventually recovered some 45 years later
41-13297 returned to the air on January 12th 2007

oops! well, i've gone and done it: i took a photo just to take one, and it just had to be blurry with the lighting all wrong. taken at quarter to midnight or so, in a "crap, i've still gotta take a picture" moment, while we sat with his sister and her husband, drinking and talking, after watching the 7pm show of Avatar on 3D imax (intense movie, btw, and it's exactly what everyone says it is).
so anyway, that's murdo's shirt, and when i took it i thought i'd tell you about how he loves these plaid, collared, button down, short-sleeve shirts. he wears one just about every day. and there you have it. day 8, sorry it had to be you.
