This is a difficult moment as the balloon is nearly upright, it can take quite a bit of holding on to.

ever had to do the right thing, and it made things a bit worse, or at least you felt worse, cause you knew you HAD to do it, today was like that for me =(............this has nothing to do with anything computer related, its an issue within my family, that i cried so much about this morning, talking to my good friends has helped, and taking pics is my other escape, SO that is the reason for this one....

Two years ago Aaron and I attempted Welch Peak via the Jones Lake / Conway Ridge side. After a long and tiring day, our food and water resources were almost depleted and we had come to the end of the rope mentally. We made the extremely tough decision to turn around just after the sub summit when we were litterally only 15 minutes away from conquering Welch.
A few days ago Aaron and I tackled Welch Peak again. This time approaching from the Chilliwack River Valley side and via the full south ridge as described in Matt Gunn's Scrambles book. The route is quite exposed but we did not find it or the crux to be too much trouble. the only time we used a rope was to down-climb from one of Aaron's "short-cuts" on the way back down the South Ridge.
This shot of Aaron is taken from the sub-summit with the true summit of Welch Peak showing in the background. It was a good day. We had our revenge.
Welch Peak is the highest point in this picture taken from Eaton Peak a couple of months ago.

This young boy is growing up fast. He has lost his sense of freedom and wonder, knowing of the hardships to come.
I wish him peace and prosperity-

At this station, she's throwing velcro balls at the velcro target. It was interesting because even at that close of a distance, she was having difficulty getting close to the center.
She was using her left hand (her dominant hand), but crossing over the midline as she threw.
