Earlier in the week I had planned to get out for some early season road rides but with our community hosting one of Ontario's largest ice-fishing derby's, the thought of being on the hwy with the extra traffic was a deterent.
Instead, I spent an hour on the trainer this afternoon preparing for a 60km point to point race in April that I am already registered for. After an hour I had enough of the trainer. I'm tired of being inside on the hidious bitch goddess, aka rollers, or mashing on the trainer.
Once I am done with the Paris to Ancaster event, I plan on spending some time and attention on a few favourite local gravity trails that I neglected until the fall of last season. Most days that I rode were wet. I feel I had one week of summer and I had to leave the country to experience it. I'm prepared for the spring weather this year.

The beam in the middle of the picture is the one that was found to have a crack recently. People worked around the clock to fix it.

I have seen many images that contain this kind of style and I love many of them. So I always wanted to do something like this myself but never knew how to. Now it worked and the outcome is exactly what I was looking for.
Dont wait and look at this in Large

I swear to god he was trying to spray me as well ! I may have alienated the farmers here by posting a picture of someone shooting pigeons ( quite a while back ) and leaving an amusing ( I thought ) remark. There were a dozen pigeons all flapping pathetically and taking ages to die which was a bit alarming so I left the caption something along the lines of ' It's not the fact that he's shooting pigeons but god knows what else he shoots; I mean can he tell a pigeon from an albatross or his arse from his elbow ! ' At the end of autumn when the fields were bare whenever they saw me they'd rush over in a tractor or van and tear around in front of me to try and drive me off. Another posho foxhunting landowner found out I was interested in foxes and I'm sure they went out and slaughtered them all, I hardly ever see them anymore. The dog problem here is worse than ever, I'm trying desperately hard to be calm and reasonable and try to tell them about the vulnerable leverets and ground nesting birds but they just don't care. Some are now letting dogs run in the fields just to spite me ( 99 % of dogs couldn't catch an adult hare but even a poodle could kill leverets ). I just don't wanna go here anymore but I'm committed to doing a mammal survey, I can only hope I get pictures incriminating enough to go to the police, but what kind of motivation is that ?

I wanted to leave this a bit more raw than I usually tend to. I liked the simplicity.
BTW: I just realized that I forgot to tell you that I already posted my info post about my recent getty sales on My Blog. So this is for everone who is interested.
My life is perfect at the moment. I am really happy with how things are working out at the moment even though this image is not the perfect one to show that.
Nevertheless I hope you can share that!

I care that public perception of political integrity is desperately desperately low. Come on.. less flim flam, less spin, less hiding behind 'the rules'!
