Mechanical Anthropology project for Interactive Media. I took a modest 1963 vintage blow dryer & changed it's meaning to a gift from god that eventually results in the destruction of all mankind.
I wanted the compositions to be understated (simply a narrative of the beginning of the world to the end), but clicking or mousing over certain places (I'm thinking red pieces) will result in boxes popping up to change the composition/meaning... kind of like the box taking control.
