Rep. Coffman speaks at a Balanced Budget Amendment Caucus roundtable event on July 28, 2010. The roundtable discussion was focused on H.J.Res. 1, the Balanced Budget Amendment, with leading national organizations that have an active interest in federal government fiscal responsibility. The roundtable will focus on, but not be limited to, a robust discussion about a path forward for passage of the amendment. In attendance at the event were Caucus Co-Chairs Rep. Jim Marshall (D-GA) and Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, FreedomWorks, the Heritage Foundation, National Capitol Tea Party, National Taxpayers Union, Peterson-Pew Commission on Budget Reform, and Renewing American Leadership.
