This is a painting at the Victims of Political Persecution Memorial Museum that illustrates the Soviet religious purges in Mongolia in the 1930's. If you look closely, you can see some amazing detail in the painting of the travesties of those times, including torture of the monks, mass graves, execution-style shootings, rape, imprisonment, and destruction of monasteries.
