well got a call tues nite and was told that The Challenger (UP 3985) was gonna make a test run over to laramie, wy - which i think hasn't made a run in over two years after her derailment (i think two years ago - time to do some research ?) but anyways i almost went over to Harriman, WY to wait for her there, but decided to just go to the UP yard and see it there - glad i did because they canceled the run and are doing it thur - sept-2, had a great time there saw lots of cool old stuff and got my foot in the door.
The Challenger is the world's largest operating steam locomotive in the world.
