Seahawk MkII. Maritime aircraft need loiter time and stability for scanning and weapons, so I altered the design accordingly. The original wings were rather short, making it more bullet than bird.
I gave it longer wings with less chord and mounted them at the shoulder for more stability, then mounted the elevators slight further down to be out of the way of the wings. I made the rear of the body slightly longer and the tails a little shorter and wider.

Original design by Colourbrand. I wanted to see how it looked as a model, hence this quick study. Nothing detailed, just to see proportions. It looks a little stubby for my liking, so I tinkered with it and made a MkII.

Day 208: I've had a headache all day, so I was trying to figure out what kind of lame picture I'd have to settle for today.
But when I came home, I found Drossel apparently trying to sneak an email to Gedächtnis. Or, perhaps, Schadenfreude if I wanted to believe real monkey business was afoot.
At any rate, I snapped this picture before she became awares. For a Princess, she isn't very observant. I did manage to keep her from chucking the "caps lock" key across the room. Apparently she's one of those people.
