Last one. Cant wait to do more of this style again. This shoot really turned out well for it to be completely unplanned. She called me like an hour before it happened so we were seriously just improvising as we went along. I predicted disaster cuz I had NO CLUE how I was going to light to get this dark effect but I guess I got away with it this time lol..

Ok I lied I do have a setup shot (sorta). Found this while surfing through the RAW images. Cant see the Metz strobe on the floor but it was hand held anyway. This shot like the others is 99% unedited. Being a former graphics designer I've always liked to be heavy in PP to really make my work come to life but I kinda like the simple look for a change.

I think this is my fav from the series. When I first saw her kitchen I had no idea how I was going to get the look I was going for but it actually turned out to be the perfect setting. I wanted to keep the room as dark as possible while lighting her so I could get lots of shadows so I put grids on all 3 strobes, placed them pretty close to her on 1/16 power, and aimed high medium and low to cover her whole body. I was concerned about the fact that the walls and ceiling were white so I kept them close to her to minimize the spread of light bouncing around.

This shoot was fun. I guess this would be considered burlesque/alternative? In any case its definately a style I want to do more of. I think Ceci is the only friend of mine who actually is a model lol.. Sorry but there's no setup shot for this series.
This shot is pretty much straight out of camera :). Very very little PP which is something I'm not used to but I like it.
